The portrait you’ve earned

When a school’s seat is claimed, it’s closed

Class of 2027

If your school’s seat is open, you can claim it. If it’s taken, it’s taken.

This isn’t a group. There’s no rep program, no team.

One senior. One school. That’s the whole structure.

This is for the senior who’s already done the work, and wants a portrait that reflects it honestly.

One seat per school. Selected, no open enrollment. The experience is built around that. Unhurried, personal, and consistent for every member.

One seat. Full attention.

The experience is limited because the attention isn’t.

Every member gets the same unhurried pace, the same care, the same focus, because enrollment stays small enough to protect that.

That’s the whole reason the structure exists.

How consideration works

1) You request the seat for your school.

2) I confirm whether it’s open.

3) If it is, I’ll reach out directly.

4) If it’s taken, you can request the waitlist.

Consideration is based on fit. Not speed.

Why one seat

One school. Just you.

When you’re chosen, you’re the only senior from your school in the Collective. No comparison. No overlap. Your portrait stands on its own.

Built for this year specifically

This isn’t a referral program. It’s a membership designed around one year, with time, access, and consistency that it required.

No guessing. No awkwardness

Every step is supported. Wardrobe, locations, expression, final selection. Not scripted. Supported. There’s a difference.

What the year looks like

  • Signature Editorial Session

An earlier session, separate from the full portrait, to establish the work before the pressure of senior year arrives. By the time your main session comes, you’re not starting cold.

  • Priority Booking Access

You choose your date before the calendar opens. No competing for times, no settling for what’s left.

  • Private Image Reveal

You see your images the way they’re meant to be seen. In person, with time, without pressure. No online galleries. No decisions made from a phone screen.

  • Signature Print

One museum-grade print, included. Made to be displayed and kept, not stored in a folder and forgotten.

  • The Collective Shoot

Once a year, the full cohort meets.

A golden hour session on the North Shore — all members together for an afternoon that belongs only to this year. Not a production. Not a photoshoot in the traditional sense. An afternoon that happens to be documented.

Every final image from the shoot is edited, selected, and delivered to you as a gift. Your signature print comes from this session.

The collective shot — all members, one image — lives on this page. Permanently.

This is what the year ends with.

What membership asks of you

The Collective works because every member is genuinely part of it. That means:

One BTS video or Reel posted to TikTok or Instagram within two weeks of your session. Tag @iancowpar.

One Story during the year referencing the Collective. Tag @iancowpar.

Availability for the annual Collective shoot — one afternoon, date announced to members first.

Consent to appear in Ian's marketing materials using images from your session or the Collective shoot, with tag or credit.

That's the whole ask. If it feels like too much, this probably isn't the right fit, and that's okay.

$950 Membership Seat

The membership fee secures your school's seat in the Collective and waives your full $1,290 senior session fee.

What the $950 covers: your place in the founding cohort, your editorial session, your Collective shoot participation, your signature print, and priority access to Ian's calendar before it opens.

What happens at your reveal: portrait products — albums, wall art, prints — are selected and purchased separately. Your $900 credit applies toward your album or wall art, the same as every Ian Cowpar client.

The membership fee is non-refundable once your seat is confirmed, because once it's held, it's yours. And no one else's.

Founding cohort pricing will not be offered to future cohorts.

Why a membership model?

Keeping enrollment small is the only way to keep the experience what it is. The membership is the structure that makes that possible.

If your seat is open, this is where it starts. You’ll hear back within a few days.

Requesting consideration does not obligate you to move forward. It starts a conversation.
